Builder

As a builder you shape the world of Coding-Area with your creativity and dedication, creating a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere.

Qualifications
  • No minimum age. Just be yourself.
  • Prior experience, e.g. on other servers, is welcome but not required.
  • Creativity and the ability to build beautiful, functional structures.
Note

It would be great if you included some screenshots or worlds from previous build projects — maps or other creations — with your application. 🙂

Development

Developers program the plugins — the beating heart of Coding-Area.

Qualifications
  • No minimum age. Just be yourself.
  • Solid experience with Java, Git, OOP, design patterns and conventions.
  • Experience building Spigot or Velocity plugins and working with concurrency.
  • Open to learning. We use many technologies and understanding them is essential.

Content

The Content team is split into several areas. Which one fits you best?

Game Design

Game Design develops concepts for new gamemodes, systems and features together with developers and administration.

Qualifications
  • No minimum age. Just be yourself.
  • Creativity to bring new ideas and perspectives.

Social Media

The Social Media team handles Coding-Area's online presence.

Qualifications
  • You have unique ideas or know how to best present yourself online.
  • You're comfortable with editing and image-processing software.

Localization

Localization translates Coding-Area into as many languages as possible to build an international and diverse community.

Qualifications
  • You're proficient in a foreign language.
  • You can translate from German into it.
  • You're willing to learn new things.

Art Division

Interested in art, texture packs and pixel art? Apply!

Qualifications
  • No minimum age. Just be yourself.
  • You're artistically talented and want to make Coding-Area look great.
  • You can create texture packs or are willing to learn.

Moderation

As a moderator you're the first point of contact for our community. You help with questions, mediate conflicts and ensure everyone has a fair and safe place to play.

Qualifications
  • You're at least 16 years old.
  • You're friendly, helpful and stay calm under pressure.
